TERMS & CONDITIONS

Estimates

Quotes are provided for estimation purposes and may change once project elements are finalized. Any changes or deviations from the specified details that incur additional costs will require written approval and will be added as extra charges beyond the original estimate. Pricing includes applicable taxes.

Estimates are valid for 60 days from the date of proposal.

All projects require a sign off, and a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin fabrication or ordering of materials for the job.

Payment

Full payment of the remaining balance is required upon completion of the project. Such payment is to be made immediately to the installers who are on-site unless other terms are specified and agreed to by both A Mirror Image and customer. All checks made payable to A Mirror Image.

Scope of Work

Work outside the scope of uninstalling and installing glass and metal products will not be handled by A Mirror Image team members. Please ensure that all fixtures, equipment, and furniture that could obstruct the glass installation area are removed prior to installation. If we are removing an existing shower, we cannot predict what is behind the current hardware. We strive to thoroughly clean the space before installing our new materials, and we fill any holes with silicone if we cannot cover them. However, anything beyond these measures is beyond our control. Without prior knowledge of existing below-surface materials, it is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any layout or depth restrictions.

Orders

We are consistently working to improve our relationships with existing vendors or trying new ones if necessary to improve quality and lead times for our customers. Lead times vary depending on the vendor, product, and time of year.

We cannot guarantee a perfect match when attempting to match existing hardware colors. While manufacturers have similar names for hardware, it does not mean they are truly the same color or finish. We are limited to our vendor's color selections. These colors often vary from common bathroom fixture brands.

Media Use and Ownership

Media Capture: Customer acknowledges and agrees that Company may take photographs, videos, or other forms of media ("Media") that showcase the work performed by Company on Customer's property. This may include before and after images, process images, or any other type of Media that reasonably demonstrates the services provided by the Company.

Use of Media: Customer expressly grants Company the right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display any Media captured on Customer’s property for Company's legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, and social media content, without obtaining additional consent from the Customer.

Rights to Media: Customer grants Company a universal, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, perform, and display such Media, and to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.

Warranty

A Mirror Image proudly provides a one-year guarantee on all sales and installations, ensuring customer satisfaction through the repair or replacement of any faulty products within one year from the installation date.

We are committed to sourcing high-quality merchandise from reputable and responsible manufacturers. In the event of hardware defects, our products are supported by manufacturer limited lifetime warranties, with replacement of defective hardware provided at no charge during the first year. After the first year, any service or repair requests will be subject to a $150 service fee, plus the cost of any replacement parts not covered under warranty.

Acrylic sweeps and seals are covered for a period of one year from the date of installation. Replacement of these materials over time is considered routine maintenance. Replacement pieces are available for purchase at our showroom.

Frameless glass shower enclosures are designed to deflect water and steam, not to be completely watertight. Small gaps may be necessary for proper function and to accommodate normal settling and shifting of a home. If a fully waterproof solution is desired, a frameless enclosure is not recommended.

Silicone sealant will naturally deteriorate over time, and the use of harsh cleaners can significantly accelerate this process. For this reason, silicone is not covered under warranty.

In accordance with ASTM glass industry standards, glass should be viewed from a distance of 10 feet in natural, indirect light. If blemishes are still visible under these conditions, the glass may be considered for remake.

On rare occasions, tile may crack or break during drilling. There is no warranty against tile breakage. If tile damage occurs, installation will stop immediately and the customer will be notified. Tile breakage during drilling reflects the quality or condition of the tile installation—not the workmanship or products of A Mirror Image. Tile replacement is the customer’s responsibility.

To protect your installation, harsh or abrasive cleaners are not recommended for shower enclosures. Hardware is often coated with a clear protective lacquer that is sensitive to strong chemicals and rough cleaning tools; improper cleaning may result in irreversible damage.

By approving your estimate, whether by signature, payment of deposit, or other written approval, you acknowledge receipt and understanding of these terms and conditions, and further, you acknowledge your express agreement to be bound by each.
